MLE CEexpress 7 contains two articles about properly training laboratory personnel and ensuring their ability to perform testing correctly by conducting initial and ongoing competency assessment. Part 1 describes the importance of personnel training and appropriate training methods. Part 2 continues with ways to evaluate personnel competency in the skills and duties of their jobs in order to meet the requirements of CLIA and ensure quality patient care.
